Hi! I'm YogiJay (Jason Mazar-Kelly) and I am a man of many stories.
Yoga Teacher - Educator - CPA - Coach - Husband - Son - Friend - Beautiful Ball of Energy.
I've been teaching since 2014 and since beginning my personal practice I have experienced a full life. With ups, downs and all arounds. I have certifications and degrees but most importantly experience.
I grew up with severe OCD after having my first panic attack when I was 12 years old. For 6 years I cycled through therapy and medication, finding moments of calm and moments of chaos. I found Yoga through a combination of encouragement from my mom and a crush. It changed my life and allowed me to break free from the experience of OCD. It allowed me to practice exposure therapy, in fact it had roots in it, a whole world and thousands of years of trials and tribulations and if you let go and show up for the practice it will help you navigate your trials and tribulations.
Yoga helped me remember, I am not the narrative and identity in my mind. I am the energy behind it. When I experience an intrusive thought that drives a compulsion, I can witness and feel but do not need to react. Through breath, movement and sitting with oneself, despite the discomfort, I found rememberance.
Anxiety + Bravery = Confidence
Today my dharma (path) is to help myself and others remember and reconnect with the energy and awesomeness we are behind our stories again and again.

Private Sessions & 1:1 Mindfulness Coaching
My dharma—my purpose—is to help myself and others, remember more often than not, that we are not the narrative or identity spinning in our minds. We are the vibrant energy behind it.
When we experience intrusive thoughts, stress, or the weight of a heavy story, we don't need to react or try frantically to "fix" the script. We just need to remember who we actually are.
This truth isn't just something we practice on a yoga mat; it is a foundational lens that flows into every aspect of how we navigate our lives.
Whether we are moving through physical blocks or life's most complex transitions, my 1:1 sessions are designed to help you consciously step back into your own power.

"We are not the stories in our mind but instead, the energy behind it. When we discover this truth, we let go of the urge to fix the story and step into the practice that helps us consciously decide how we want to express the energy we are" - YogiJay
