Since we were children, storytelling has been a pillar of our lives. It is how we communicate, connect and share. Stories can inspire creativity, provide a platform for education and motivate us to act (and in some instances, not act). Learn about your story through the lens of yoga!

In this workshop, we will discuss the concept of story and the power of story. We will reflect on our own stories and utilize the practice of yoga to support us in opening up our stories, including how we might change those stories to better serve us in our lives. YogiJay, will share his story and experience growing up with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and why OCD is a sensitivity to life that highlights the power of story. If you are curious about storytelling, unsure about your current story, looking to change your story, or if any of this has peaked the slightest bit of interest, this workshop is for you. This workshop will also include a special yoga practice to support observing and learning about our stories as well yoga nidra (sleep yoga - a guided relaxation) and community discussion.
