Beach Plum Jam Class

Join us as we celebrate this special fruit! Beach plums are grown in sandy soils and are typically seen on beach dunes along the East Coast. Given the Farm’s proximity to the shore and our sandy soils, beach plums grow well at the Farm.

We’ll start the class by harvesting from our own plants and head back to the kitchen with Casey Mazar-Kelly to learn how to process the fruit for jam. Each participant will take home their own jar to savor the season.
