Take an adventure over to the MyToi Gardens on Chappaquiddick for a relaxing morning of meditation and mindful movement in the MyToi Gardens with Jason Mazar-Kelly (YogiJay) and The Martha’s Vineyard Trustees. Nestled on the island outpost of Chappaquiddick, Mytoi (pronounced “my toy”) is an intimate Japanese-style garden flourishing with both native flora and exotic plants, offering visitors a destination for quiet contemplation, the perfect place for your morning meditation!
In this class you will be guided through a series of meditations, some breath centric, some movement based and some focused on enjoying the quiet stillness of the gardens. This is a great opportunity to learn meditation or to enjoy your meditation in a unique setting surrounded by a lovely community!
Please be aware that for public health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we require all staff, volunteers, and guests (over 2 years old) to wear a mask at all times during this event. We have reduced our event capacities to better facilitate social distancing. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, have traveled out of New England in the last 2 weeks, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Thank you!
